Blair Mendes co-founded Mendes, Reins & Wilander in 2020. Mr. Mendes originally started his law practice as a prosecutor with first the St. Lucie County State Attorney’s Office then later was a prosecutor with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. In 2003, Mr. Mendes began working at a nationally respected law firm representing victims of neglect. Ultimately, Mr. Mendes became a managing attorney for the renowned law firm and directed the litigation on a national level. Mr. Mendes was directly involved in the firm’s intake decisions and handled negotiations for many of the firm’s clients. Over the course of his career, Mr. Mendes has been involved in thousands of cases involving neglect, ranging from Nursing Home cases to Auto and Trucking cases to Product Liability cases. He is responsible for over $300,000,000 in settlements for his clients. He has also been involved with over fifty jury trials, including a case that resulted in a $114 million nursing home verdict – a record in Polk County, Florida.
